Easy Pumpkin Flan

Delicious easy-to-make pumpkin flan recipe, a smooth custard dessert with a simple caramel sauce. Made with less than 10 ingredients!

Caramel Sauce – ½ cup sugar – ⅓ cup water – 1 pound cooked pumpkin – 1 can evaporated milk – 1 can condensed milk – 4 large eggs – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – ¼ teaspoon salt – 1 tablespoon sugar
In a small saucepan, add the sugar and water and mix. Turn up the heat to low and let it simmer. Cook for 5-8 minutes. Then turn off the heat
Add the caramel to your flan pans and set aside for it to cool.
Add to the blender or food processor all the ingredients and blend until combined.
Put the pan in a rimmed baking pan and pour the mixture. Then add water to the baking pan fill about halfway up.
bake & cool
Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 50-60 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool. Then refrigerate overnight.
To flip the flan, run a knife around the edges of the pan. Then top with a bigger plate and flip it.
Serve warm, at room temperature or cold, or with ice cream!
